Part 1 Dialogue

A: I need to see your passport, please.

B: Yes,sir.

A: Is your visit for business or pleasure?

你这趟旅行是为了生意还是旅游？

B: Pleasure, sir.

I am here for a tour.

旅游。

我来这里旅游。

A: How long are you going to stay?

你要停留多久？

B: I will stay for 2 weeks.

语法解释：

I need to see your passport 和 May I see your passport？ 的意思是一样的，前一句是官腔，后一句客气些。

当海关人员问你What’s the purpose of your trip? (你此行的目的是什么？）你可以回答 For business.(商务) 或 For pleasure.(旅游) 两种

Part 3 Travel Tips ( 旅行小贴士）

到美国旅游最扫兴的是海关检查非常严格，移民局也很严格。 通常海关会问你 Do you have any relatives living in the States? ( 你在美国有没有亲戚？）除非你的目的很明显， 要不然尽量回答No,sir. (没有) 免得让移民局认为你要投靠亲戚不回国了，这样他会拒绝你入境。
